Why my Smoke Alarm "Backup" batteries are dying? - house alarm batteries

If the alarm is connected to the house, should not the backup battery is still fresh? Leaving the only 6 months that has been made the new battery and the alarm never has.

The expiry date is printed on the battery only valid if the battery is not installed on everything. Once it put into a device, even if you do not use the battery will expire within a few months. You need to change batteries in smoke detectors twice a year.
